Frequently asked
What is Hark?
Hark is a private second brain. You capture a thought, a name, a moment — by text, voice, a screenshot, or a shared link — and later ask for it back in plain words. Everything stays on your iPhone.
Which devices does Hark support?
Hark requires iPhone 15 Pro or later, running iOS 26 or newer. It relies on Apple's on-device intelligence, which is available on those devices.
Is my data really private?
Yes. There's no account and no cloud. Your memories are created, stored, and searched entirely on your device, and nothing is ever sent to us or to a third party. See our
Privacy Policy for the full detail.
How do I capture something?
Open Hark and type or speak it, or use the share sheet from another app to send in a link, photo, or note. One tap and it's kept — no folders or tags to manage.
How do I find a memory again?
Use "Ask Hark" and write the way you'd think about it — for example, "where did I park" or "that café Sara mentioned." Hark understands time and context, so you don't need exact keywords.
Does Hark work in Arabic?
Yes. You can capture in Arabic or English and ask in either language — Hark keeps up both ways.
Do I need an account or subscription?
No account is required to start, and there's nothing to sign up for. Any pricing details will be shown clearly inside the app.
How do I move Hark to a new iPhone?
If you use encrypted iCloud or device backups, your Hark data can be restored along with your other apps when you set up a new iPhone. Your data stays under your and Apple's control — we never see it.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual memories inside the app at any time, or remove everything instantly by deleting the app from your device.
I found a bug or have a feature idea.
We'd love to hear it. Email
support@askhark.com with as much detail as you can (your iPhone model and iOS version help a lot).
